Two Week Check-Ups

Hard to believe it has been two weeks already. Yesterday Lady Bug and I headed up to Houston for my check in with Dr. Mundy. All went well and he said that I am healing nicely. Of course I stuck my foot in my mouth and have to have a two hour Glucose Tolerance Test at my 6 week checkup. Not at all a fan of that idea. Lady Bug was a gem and slept the entire time. Oh and here is another interesting stat. I made it all the way through pregnancy and only gained 4lbs and as of this week I am down 24lbs already. I never would have imagined that was even possible.
Last night I noticed that my little one has gotten congested. Not sure where we picked up a bug but I am not a happy camper that she has the sniffles. Hopefully it will pass quickly.
Today was Lady Bug's two week checkup. She weighed in at 7lbs 14oz. Not quite back up to her birth weight but up from when we saw the doctor last week so that is good. We have to go back in 10 days to make sure she is over the 8lbs 4oz mark. I vaguely remember having to do the same thing with the Boss. At some point next week we have to go by the local hospital for some routine prenatal testing. I am just glad we don't have to drive back to Memorial Hermann to do it and that we can do it around here. Her Doctor said that she looks great and there is nothing she is concerned about as long as she continues to gain weight.
So good news is that both of us have checked out great so far. Even though I really am still in shock that two weeks have passed.
